Summary
Worship service featuring the sermon “The Names of God: Jehovah Nissi” given by Interim Pastor Rev. Johnny Richards; including scriptures from Exodus 17:8-16; and music performed by music director Risa Poniros, pianist Cheryl Walker and the choir.
Living for Christ seems to become more and more difficult each day. With the cost of living going up, and the daily demands on our lives, it can be hard to keep our eyes focused on God. In today’s message, our pastor talks about another man who struggled doing what God needed him to do when he was tired. His name was Moses. However, when Moses became tired, he had people to help him keep going. Our text this morning is Exodus 17:8-16. Keith Harris will be reading our scripture lesson for today.
Points to Remember:
- We have to keep our focus on God
- We have to seek help when we are tired
- We have to remember God’s goodness when he sends the help
