Worship service featuring the sermon “Being Your Own Boss” given by Interim Pastor Rev. Johnny Richards; including scriptures from Hebrews 13:6-9; and music performed by music director Risa Poniros, pianist Cheryl Walker and the choir.

“As long as someone writes you a check for working, they are your boss”. Some agree with this statement and some disagree. Whatever job we do, the person we are working for is our boss. When it comes to being a Christian, we are, in a way, our own boss. In our message for today, our pastor talks about ways we are in control of how we live and what we do. The choices are really ours. Our scripture for today is Hebrews 13:6-9. Barbara Goodson will be reading the scripture lesson.

Points to Remember:

  1. We are our own boss in our quiet times
  2. We are our own boss when it comes to doubting
  3. We are our own boss when it comes to our desires
  4. We are our own boss when it comes to obeying God
