VBS 2024 Information:
Wednesday afternoons: June 19, July 3, 10, 31 and August 7
from 12 Noon – 3 PM
Open to all children 4 years old through 5th grade.
Over the summer for VBS, we will learn about all the things God created for us. Our key verse will be Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth.” Each week will cover one aspect of the creation story:
- June 19: creation of light and dark with a “Dan the animal man” visit bringing some of his amazing animals
- July 3: creation of the sun, moon and stars
- July 10: creation of land and plants
- July 31: creation of birds and water animals
- August 7: creation of land animals and man
Scientist Cheryl will have experiments to teach about God’s creation. Dan, the Animal Man, will bring some of his amazing animals and Zoo on the Go returns with their farm animal petting zoo. Themed art and craft projects will be included for even more fun.
