A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR

Reunions.  I can’t believe next spring will be my 50th college reunion.  I can’t be that old.  And I am looking forward to my reunion with you after a greatly appreciated few weeks away.  But most of all, I think of the grand reunion that awaits us all in heaven.  Who is it you most look forward to reuniting with?  A parent, spouse, best friend, child?  One day, and sooner than we can imagine, we will not only see our loved ones but will see the face of Christ.  I have often said I can’t wait to meet this One whom I have been talking about all these decades.  Can you imagine?

If you need to be moved and encouraged by the coming of that day, I have a recommendation for you.  If you get YouTube on your computer search the following—-The Holy City/Staford Olson and the Tabernacle Choir.  Honestly, I can’t say how many times I have played it and every time I am moved and encouraged by that eternal dwelling place that will one day be mine and yours.  The Holy City–sing, for the night is o’er!

Hope to see you next week.  Next Wednesday I start a new series and hope you will join me.  Thank you again for the gift of this past month.

Brave Journey,

Bill
