VBS 2023 Information:
Wednesday evenings June 21 through July 19
from 5:30 to 8:00 pm
Open to all children 4 years old through 5th grade.
During VBS this summer, we will use Bible stories from both the Old and New Testaments to teach how God shows his love. Our theme verse is John 3:16. We will explain how God shows his love through provision, protection, presence, forgiveness, and salvation, each with a story that demonstrates these principles.
- Provision: God providing manna to His people in the wilderness from Exodus
- Protection: Daniel in the lions den
- Presence: Daniel’s friends in the fiery furnace
- Forgiveness: the parable of the prodigal son as told by Jesus
- Salvation/Deliverance: Jesus’ sacrifice for all mankind
Scientist Cheryl will have experiments that will amaze and teach. Dan, the Animal Man, will bring some of his amazing animals and Zoo on the Go returns with their farm animal petting zoo. Art and craft projects will be included for even more fun.
Please contact the church by phone 919-781-5345 or email for more information.
