Worship service featuring the sermon “The Seven Last Words of Christ: Victory” given by Interim Pastor Rev. Johnny Richards; including scriptures from John 19:28-30; and music performed by pianist Cheryl Walker.

When thinking of sports, two words come to mind: Victory and loss. One team will win and one team will lose. We may not like it at times, but that’s the way competition is. There is a winner and there is a loser. When we think of Christ’s death on the cross, only one word should come to mind..victory. Today, our pastor continues the study on “The Seven Last Words of Christ,” looking at the word “Victory.” The text is John 19:28-30.

Points to Remember:

  1. God’s plan was fulfilled
  2. Jesus’ suffering was over
  3. Salvation was made possible
  4. Love was shown
