Worship service featuring the sermon “Don’t Look Back” given by Interim Pastor Rev. Johnny Richards; including scriptures from Luke 9:57-62; and music performed by music director Risa Poniros and pianist Cheryl Walker.

Have you ever tried to walk or drive forward, while looking behind you? If you have, I’m not sure why. If you have not, please don’t. It is extremely difficult. In order to walk or drive forward, we must keep our eyes forward. In our message for today, our pastor talks about the importance of not looking back in our lives as we try to move forward in living for God. Our text is Luke 9:57-62. Gene Sherwood is reading the scripture lesson.

Points to Remember:

  1. Don’t look back on sins that are already forgiven
  2. Don’t look back on defeats that can bring you down
  3. Don’t look back at the past and see it as better than it really was.
  4. Don’t look back on old conflicts that can make us bitter
