First Sunday of Advent: Hope
“Hope fills the holes of my frustration in my heart.” (Emanuel Cleaver) Everyone wants to have hope. Without hope, what is there to look forward to? Today we begin our Advent season. In our message today, our pastor talks about how we can experience hope, even if in small ways. Anna Clark youth director is the reader today and her daughter Sydney will light the candle of hope. Our scripture reader is Gene Sherwood.
