A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR

I want to share some words written by my friend Ron Cava for July 4th:

“Hot dog or hamburger?  Give me both!  Because I love this land where we don’t all have to love the same things, believe the same things, or do the same things to be who we are.  Where we can affirm all that is good and protest anything that isn’t.  Where we worship or not.

This is my land. I want it to be your land.  I want you and me to not only yearn to breathe free, but to breathe free.

I celebrate as an American, where we have the belief and aspiration, if not always the fulfillment, that all humans are created equal and endowed with the fundamental right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
