Memorial Day. A time for picnics, parties and enjoying the day off. However, it is also a time of remembering. In this message, our pastor reminds us that Memorial Day is a time of giving thanks for the freedom we have as citizens of this country because of the ultimate sacrifice of so many men and women. It is also a time of giving thanks for the future hope we have of eternal life because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. He died so that we might live.
