I have often said through the years that when it comes to church conferences you want them to be “boring and short.” Yesterday’s conference, however, was full of celebrations that remind me why CVBC continues to exist.
Consider:
- Three churches now sharing space in our building
- 5 Wednesdays hosting Vacation Bible School
- 5 youth attending Passport Camp
- Children attending Raleigh Baptist Association Music Camp
- Over 500 individuals provided food through our Food Pantry
- Continued hosting of families in our Welcome House
- Looking forward to Christmas Concert
And on and on. These are clear reminders that CVBC has a reason to be the presence of Christ. As someone said to me recently–“we are small but mighty.” Indeed, let us continue to expect great things of good and attempt great things for God.
