A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR

1993.  Jurassic Park was the number one movie.   Bill Clinton was inaugurated as President.  The cost of gas was $1.16/gallon.  UNC defeated Michigan for the NCAA basketball championship.

But most important of all—a young lady named Peggy Utley began her ministry as secretary/wonder woman/nerve center of Crabtree Valley Baptist Church!!!

Imagine all the changes Peggy has experienced.  The ministers that have come and gone.  The use of computers.  The greeting of people whose first experience of the church was her.  All the ways she kept the church running.  The difference she has made.

Well done, good and faithful servant.  And I hope everyone will come out and give her the celebration she deserves this Saturday, May 2, from 2-4 pm.   We could not be more grateful.
