This week we welcome Michelle Anderson to our pulpit. She grew up in the small western North Carolina town of Rutherfordton. Michelle attended Wake Forest University where she received a BA in Psychology. After graduating, she attended Campbell University Divinity School, graduating in 2007 with a Masters of Divinity in Christian Education. Michelle served as Associate Pastor for Family Ministries at Westwood Baptist Church in Cary for nearly 16 years. She currently works as a Bereavement Coordinator at Heartland Hospice in Raleigh, where she has served since April of 2020. Michelle is married to Ben, who is the Media Specialist at McGee’s Crossroads Elementary School. They have 7-year-old twins, Hannah and Noah, who are in 1st grade. In her spare time Michelle loves spending time with her family and fishing.
