A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR

I want to invite/encourage/challenge you to a new schedule in your week—good time.  We meet every Wednesday from 6:30-7:15 and it is an opportunity to grow in community and faith.  As I often say—going a whole week apart from my spiritual family is too long and so Wednesday night allows me to keep in touch.  

Several dates/opportunities to be aware of:

There will be no Wednesday night activities on July 3 due to the July 4 holiday.

On July 10 my wife Kathy and I will host an ice cream fellowship.  No study, just a time to enjoy each other’s company along with some good ice cream.  Kathy and I are really hoping you will join us for a good time of fellowship together.

Starting July 17, I will begin a study based on the book “God Never Gives Up on You” by Max Lucado.  This is a biblical study of the life of Jacob in the Old Testament.  It would be great if you purchase it ahead of time but it’s not required.  You can purchase it on Amazon.

These summer days with the sun setting late offer opportunities to make fresh starts, to establish new patterns, to celebrate ways to take your spiritual journey to the next level.   Wednesday evenings, Sunday mornings, invite you to decide you want more and will do what it takes.  As I said in the conclusion of my message Sunday—“True success is being better tomorrow than you were today.”
