A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR

As the calendar turns and the temperatures finally begin to ease, we are reminded again that change is a natural part of God’s creation.  Scripture tells us, “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”  (Ecclesiastes 3:1)  My bet is that there are those seasons in your personal life that you wish could be changed as well.  Maybe instead we can simply pause and give thanks for what is.  That can then be the bridge towards expecting more of God’s blessings in your future.  Just as the trees release what they no longer need, perhaps there are things in our own lives that God is inviting us to release – worries, disappointments, regrets, or habits that hold us back.

Whatever season you find yourself in today – joyful or difficult, busy or quiet, familiar or uncertain – remember that you do not walk it alone.  May you enter this season and every day with gratitude, hope, and confidence in the One who is faithful in every season.

Brave Journey,

Bill
