A WORD FROM OUR PASTOR

Our Wednesday night Bible Study is focusing on areas of our lives that invite us to have an unshakable hope in a world that is tempting to shake us at our very core.

This Wednesday we look at what is perhaps the final ultimate challenge to our faith and living—-how we view death and what awaits every one of us.  As God’s people our hope rests in the resurrection of Jesus.  Because He faced death and overcame it, we have been given that promise as well.  But how can we be sure?  Only by boldly trusting scripture and believing in God’s promise.  Be reminded again and take heart–

So we do not give up.  Our physical body is becoming colder and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new every day.  We have small troubles for a while now, but they are helping us gain an eternal glory that is much greater than the troubles.  We set our eyes not on what we see but on what we cannot see.  What we see will last only a short time, but what we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18 NCV)

Join us for Bible study every Wednesday night at 6:30.  It is a wonderful gift in the middle of the week.  And keep your eyes and heart on the final victory that will one day be yours.

Brave Journey,

Bill
