With the coming of November and December we enter the season of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Both events open to us many opportunities for family time, worship, and reflection. I encourage you to plan family time when you can be together, express your love for one another and revel in the precious gift of family. We are diligently planning for meaningful worship experiences at CVBC which will include special music, a focus on the many things for which we can be thankful and a Thanksgiving Eve Service at 6:30pm. What better way to express our thanks to God than to come to His House with a thankful heart and with family members as the family of God.
For Christmas make December 9, at 2pm a priority on your calendar, as we gather for a Christmas Cantata with the Crabtree Valley Baptist Choir and the Ridge Road Baptist Church Choir uniting for a memorable afternoon of music and celebration of the Birth of Christ followed by a time of fellowship and sharing in our Fellowship Hall. Make it a point to attend all of our Sunday Worship experiences including a Christmas Eve Candle Light Service at 5pm.
Thanksgiving and Christmas offer us a wonderful opportunity to invite neighbors, friends and family to the special services mentioned above. Our hearts rejoice when we can bring others to the house of God. I urge you to make an intentional effort to invite, encourage and even bring others to our Sunday School and Worship in this special season of the year.
In His Love,
Charles
