Worship service featuring the sermon “The Seven Last Words of Christ: Salvation” given by Interim Pastor Rev. Johnny Richards; including scriptures from Luke 23:43; and music performed by music director Risa Poniros, and pianist Cheryl Walker.
Raymond Sides wrote a poem entitled; “The Carrying of the Cross”. In this poem he talks about how Christ carried the cross and experienced pain, but carried it until the end. That was a difficult journey. We all have our difficult crosses to bear, though they do not cost us what they cost Christ. From now until Easter Sunday, our pastor will lead us in a study of “The Seven Last Words of Christ.” Today, we continue with “Salvation.”
