Sunday was Father’s Day.
I have special memories of my father beginning everyday with God by reading his morning devotional. That is why I am so glad that our church provides Our Daily Bread devotional booklets. I read mine every night before I go to bed, and I encourage you to get one if you haven’t already.
The last paragraph of Sunday’s devotional reads as follows:
“No matter what our relationship status with our parents is, we can thank God for the people He chose to use when He gave us life, and we can pray they enjoy a life-transforming relationship with Christ. Prayer that leads to Jesus is a gift of love and honor that can lead to changed relationships and lives.”
