It was so good to be back in worship with you Sunday. John Killinger, Presbyterian minister and prolific writer, was once asked “Where are the great pastors?” His answer—“where the great congregations are.” I’m not a great preacher but like any pastor I am blessed when given encouragement and welcome. Your generous monetary gift to me caught me by surprise and meant so much to me. I am amazed some days that I have now been your “interim” pastor for two and one-half years. Time flies by but being invited to be a part of your story has been a blessing for me and Kathy and I am so grateful that you have given me this opportunity.
Let’s continue to expect divine gifts for the future of Crabtree Valley Baptist Church. This Sunday I begin a sermon series entitled “Questions I Want to Ask God.” Invite someone to join you and make every effort to be present yourself.
Thanks again for such a surprising gift and the encouragement and affirmation it reflected. It truly meant a lot to me.
Brave Journey,
Bill
