This is our week coming up—we call it Holy Week and it is an opportunity to celebrate and remember the greatest event in the history of mankind.
Just as much it provides a unique opportunity to consider inviting a friend/neighbor/co-worker to share in this good news. All the surveys continue to come back to the same truth—a personal invitation to someone you have a relationship with overwhelmingly brings a positive response related to any other form of outreach. So this is your time to make a difference and here are the opportunities coming up next week:
Palm Sunday, April 13: Easter musical involving CVBC choir, guest musicians, and children at 3p.m. with a time of fellowship afterwards.
Wednesday, April 16: Churchwide Supper at Casa Carbone at 5p.m.
Thursday, April 17–Maundy Thursday Communion Service remembering the Last Supper at 6:30p.m
Easter Sunday, April 20: Sunrise Service at 6:30a.m. at Raleigh Memorial Park; Worship at CVBC at 11a.m.
Christ is Risen. He is Risen Indeed. What a celebration and what good news in a world filled with bad news. Invite someone, you may be surprised how much they have been waiting for just such an invitation.
